Interest rates could stay at their current record low of 0.5% for at least another two years according to economists.
The prediction that rates will be held until 2015 comes ahead of the latest meeting of the Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee last week.
Interest rates have been at 0.5% for more than four years now, and Howard Archer of think tank Global Insight said it seems likely they will stay at 0.5% through to at least 2015.
