The recent administration of high profile tenants Jessops, Comet, HMV and Blockbuster is only the tip of the iceberg, with many lower profile tenants abandoning their leases.
Retail landlords need to consider their position carefully when tenants become insolvent and seek to abandon their leases or cease paying rent.
